Delightful Springtime Soirees

It was a hopping good time as The Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centers Associates Committee celebrated their 16th Annual Bunny Hop Chaired by Lisa Errico, Christina Addison, and Elizabeth Fuller on Tuesday, March 13th. Honorary Chair, Melania Trump was also on hand, escorted by Donald Trump and their son Barron, who was outfitted head to toe by the title sponsor of the evening Susie Hilfiger and Best and Co. Also clad in Best and Co. were the Kids Kick In Committee, made up of The Associates Committees children, who were circulating throughout the store with their Every Penny Counts pails, to collect additional funds for the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centers Department of Pediatrics. With their help, the 500 children and 700 adults in attendance contributed in the raising of over $380,000.


Vickery Creek Elementary Invites All to Spring Carnival

Come one, come all to the second annual VCE Spring Carnival, hosted by Vickery Creek Elementary in South Forsyth County. Supported by the VCE PTA and wonderful parent volunteers, this fun family event is back by popular demand with even more in store for families and kids of all ages. The Carnival is slated for Saturday, April 28, 2007, 11 a.m. till 3 p.m. and is open to everyone. In case of rain, the alternate date is set for Friday, May 4, 5-8 p.m.

The wildly popular Titanic slide is back by demand, along with a new ‘Cars' bounce house (inspired by the cute movie), awesome inflatable rides and a dragon obstacle course. And returning again this year is the giant rock climbing wall, where climbers are challenged to test their strength, agility and skills – always a hit with the older kids.


'Ah-ha' moment turns sales pitch into success

An "ah-ha" moment is a turning point. It is a flash of brilliance or discovery or just plain common sense that changes our way of thinking in an instant.
